John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Imagine giving up your first born to be ridiculed, tortured, and killed, to settle a debt that you did not incur.
That's what God did for the world. He allowed his first born Son to leave heaven and become a baby.
A hunted, threatened baby. He allowed the baby to grow into a man of miracles.
He allowed the man of miracles to be tortured and executed as a criminal.
Even though His first born Son was and always will be immortal, He allowed His Son to die, as we die.
Thankfully, God raised his first born Son from the dead, rewarding him for his obedience even to death.
That man is now the king of the universe and someday the world will see with their eyes what I am telling you here.
That First Born Son of God is known as Jesus, The Christ, The Messiah, The Son of The Most High God, Emmanuel, Yeshua.

1 John 4:7-8
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
This is such an important verse because it shows that love has a source.
It's not just a made up feeling or action that man has created.
The source of love is God.
Even the most heinous criminals can know love, and therefore know God.
